We will start our trip, leaving the airport. During the tour, the guide will provide historical, demographic and geographic information of our country. It will make a brief station so that they can observe from the vehicle the Christ of Peace Monument. Then they will go to a viewpoint, where they can appreciate the wonderful city. Then panoramic visit of the modern commercial area of Santa Elena, a place of important international organizations, embassies and hotels
They will continue their trip to the Quezaltepeque volcano where they can take a walk through the crater. When you get off, you will enter a small museum where you learn more about the history of the Boqueron.
Then, they will go to the historic center of the city visiting the Metropolitan Cathedral where the memorial site of Monsignor Romero, Plaza Barrios, Plaza Libertad, The Rosario Church and more.
When they finish, they will go to Olocuilta, to try one of the typical dishes of El Salvador. (pupusas)
You can approach the Stop Over tourism desk located in front of gate 6, starting at 7:00 a.m. Our team will explain what the tour consists. It will take your information and accompany you to the area of migration and customs, until we leave you with the tour guide who will assist you during the tour.
The tour guide will leave you in front of the main passenger entrance, where your migration process will take place again to enter the airport, which will take 15 minutes.
